The Department of Home Affairs is looking for 23 dedicated Local Office Managers to lead operations across South Africa. This is a Level 10 permanent position suited for experienced supervisors in the public or private sector.

Requirements

  • An NQF Level 6 undergraduate qualification in Public Management, Business Administration, Law, or Social Sciences.
  • 3 years of experience as a Supervisor in a customer service environment.
  • A valid driver’s license is essential.
  • Knowledge of the Immigration Act and Civic Services regulatory framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all Civic Services operations and revenue collection at the Local Office.
  • Oversee the processing of enabling documents (ID, Passports, Certificates).
  • Ensure effective risk and compliance management.
